Your own IT guy, for a flat monthly rate.
A retainer means you stop thinking about technology. When something breaks, you (or your staff) call one number and it’s handled with priority. Between calls, we keep an eye on the small stuff — updates, backups, aging hardware — so it never becomes downtime.
What a retainer actually gets you.
What you get
- Priority response — retainer clients jump the line
- Your staff can call directly; no gatekeeping through the boss
- Proactive upkeep: updates, backups & health checks
- A tech who knows your setup — no re-explaining every visit
- Plain-English advice before you buy anything
What you avoid
- Downtime that waits on an outsider’s schedule
- Surprise repair bills stacking up visit by visit
- Small problems quietly growing into expensive ones
- Multi-year contracts — cancel any time, effective end of period
Sized to your business, not a price sheet. A three-computer office and a fifteen-computer shop shouldn’t pay the same. Your monthly rate is quoted from what you actually run — and it stays flat.
Simple, automatic, cancel-any-time.
One flat monthly rate
Quoted up front based on your setup. Billed automatically each month — bank transfer (ACH) preferred, card also accepted. Receipt emailed every cycle.
First month, zero friction
You get the first invoice by email the day you start — pay it online and the following months renew automatically. No portal, no passwords, no paperwork.
Leave whenever
Cancel any time; it takes effect at the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. No termination fees, no awkward phone tree.
Retainer questions, answered straight.
Is a retainer worth it for a business our size?
Rule of thumb: if an hour of downtime costs you real money, or you’re calling for fixes more than a couple of times a quarter, a flat monthly rate usually beats paying per visit — and gets problems handled sooner. If break/fix genuinely suits you better, we’ll say so.
What’s NOT covered by the retainer?
Big projects — a new website, an office move, all-new hardware — are quoted separately so your monthly rate stays flat. You’ll always know which side of the line something falls on before it happens.
Why is bank transfer (ACH) preferred?
Card networks take a percentage of every charge; ACH costs a fraction of that. Preferring ACH keeps overhead — and therefore your rate — down. Cards work fine if that’s easier for you.
Do we sign a long-term contract?
No. Retainers renew month to month and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We’d rather earn the renewal than lock you in.
